Devastating hits to Tomas Holmstrom and Dean McAmmond don’t matter when you’re a star player. Of all people, Brian Burke can make a comment like that to avoid handling an issue he would have in his previous job.

There are no marquee names other than Crosby in this league. Again, you have to wonder how it’d be addressed if he had been the victim of Pronger’s elbows.

A great sport is bastardized by idiots like Bettman and Campbell who are so desperate for something to get them into company with the NFL, MLB, and even the NBA.
